The pattern goes from 0-3m up to Age 12. It is designed to use buttons or toggles, with either loops or button holes. The back can have a curved or straight hem. There is an option for a large patch pocket. It is possible to make the coat reversible. The construction of this coat is not complicated making it a great option if you’re looking for your first coat pattern. You do need to be confident sewing through several layers of thicker fabrics, as well as sewing button holes. It can be made from a wide variety of fabrics but is particularly suited to twill/wool/corduroy for the outer and sherpa/teddy/fur for the inner.
The measurement charts for all MBJM patterns can be found here.
The pattern is created in layers meaning you can print just the layers (sizes) you need. It can be printed using A4, legal or letter sized paper.
