This is a relaxed fit dungaree/overall. It has tie straps which don’t need undoing in order to take the garment on and off! You can use button holes or loops. There are FIVE pockets for hiding all your stuff. They are designed to be long and worn rolled at the ankle.
The child pattern has an option to add a snap crotch for easy nappy changes. The pattern is drafted to work with undies, disposable nappies or trim cloth nappies. If you use bulky cloth nappies then I recommend sizing up or trying the Wild and Free Dungarees pattern.
It is designed for medium weight, soft, woven fabrics such as corduroy, denim, linen and twill.
This is an intermediate level pattern. The actual construction of the dungarees is very simple, but you need to be comfortable sewing through multiple layers of thick fabric.
The pattern can be printed at home on A4/legal/letter sized paper, or taken to a print shop and printed on A0 paper. There is an additional projector file for the CHILD pattern which can be used with a home projector setup.
There is a separate file with a bonus tutorial taking you through how to adapt the pattern to use a facing. This helps avoid sewing through multiple layers.
