This pattern includes 2 different versions – men’s and ladies’. Each version has 10 different sizes ranging from XXS up to 5XL. There are three different necklines – round, hooded and cowl, a kanga pouch pocket for both patterns, and large patch pockets in the ladies’ pattern. There are a few different techniques involved in the pattern but it is still suitable for an enthusiastic beginner. An overlocker/serger will create a neater, more professional finish, however I have also included instructions for using a regular sewing machine.
Please note, I call the longer length a dress, since that’s what I, as a Yorkshire-Aussie girl, call it. I know that others may call it a tunic or something else altogether. The ‘dress’ is basically a long top, designed to be worn over skinny jeans or leggings.
There is a coordinating Child pattern available called the Hot Chocolate.
The pattern is created in layers meaning you can print just the layers (sizes) you need. It can be printed using A4, legal or letter sized paper.
