Sunset Shirt

(1 customer review)

0-3m – Age 12

The MBJM sunset shirt is a versatile pattern suitable for formal or casual occasions.

It has a snapcrotch option (perfect for both babies and wriggly toddlers) as well as a regular shirt finish. There is a standard collar and a grandad collar, and both long and short sleeves. You can finish it using buttons or snaps.

This is an intermediate pattern and so would not be suitable for your first ever sew. However, if you’re an enthusiastic beginner looking for a challenge then this could be the pattern for you. The tutorial is very detailed with many photos and diagrams to help people new to this kind of sewing. Many of the testers for this pattern had never sewn a shirt before, and all were successful and proud of their finished garment! For the more experienced sewer there is an additional file with condensed instructions.

As with all MBJM sewing patterns, you are welcome to sell items made using this pattern.

This is an instant download PDF, not a finished item. Due to the digital nature of PDF patterns, no refund can be given if purchased in error.

The pattern has been created in layers which means that if you open it using adobe reader you can choose just the sizes (layers) you wish to print).

I consider myself a beginner seamstress, but with the detailed instructions provided with this pattern I was able to create a wonderful 2T shirt. The pattern was well put together and easily managed. The sewing steps provided were extremely well put together with detailed photos directing each step. I would definitely recommend.
